The truth is that depending on what mood you find yourself in, all 6 of these versions are great, each for a different set of emotions. This has been one of the hardest polls I’ve ever had to take.
I voted the way I did because listening to Charlie’s show on RAV pretty much every day, it was closest to the music he played. However, V2-1 was to me the most beautifully done.
The rock version was more Charlie’s style and will attract more of his young fans’ attention on social media, but V2-1 was more moving in my opinion.
Which one are you calling the rock version?
The more I think about it, the more I think we will use the winner as the song for the main share, and use the runner-up as a reprise version. Whether we use the same video, or change it will be up to those who are working on this. Again, what an incredible display of team work. FYI, we are also working on several other songs and videos. Some will be on the FRA candidate pages once the videos are finished, but I will put some of them as audio-only in the mean time. So, check out leerepublican.com/fra/ to listen to them. One of my favorites is “God First, Stronger Together”, which I am putting on the /fra/ page right now. I can’t wait to see the video for that one.
