There is a hearing on Friday, regarding the U.S. Federal Court
Case# 2:25-cv-00291-JES-KCD
Naples Pride v. City of Naples et al
The long and short of it is that Pridefest is seeking to accomplish 2 goals:
- Hold the outdoor Drag Queen performance at the Naples Pridefest event, next to the children’s playground in Cambier Park, instead of indoors
- Allow attendees under 18 years of age, so they can get access to children and have them attend the outdoor Drag performance
This case will likely set the precedence moving forward with Pridefests and Drag Queen Story Hours across the nation
Rally Schedule – Friday morning, May 2nd
- 8:30 – ‘Reclaim God’s Rainbow’ Rally at the Old Lee County Courthouse steps (click for map)
- 9:00 – Press conference with media
- 9:30 – Head over to the Federal Courthouse in downtown Fort Myers (click for map).
- 10:00 – Hearing begins
LCRA calls upon all groups in Southwest Florida who are concerned about the ever-growing over-sexualization of children to work together and attend this event in support of our children.
Share this event with everyone you know; Pals, Patriots, Pastors, and Parishioners.
Bring your signs, some water, and true grit. Let’s end this travesty and protect the children.
If attending the hearing, plan to return signs and placards to your car before entering the courthouse. And please be respectful in the courthouse.
