ELECTION FRAUD COMPLAINT

Should you observe or witness a potential case of elections fraud, please complete and submit a complaint form so it may be further investigated. Provide the date, time, place, and as much specific information and credible evidence as possible.

In 2020, the Department received 262 Elections Fraud Complaint forms and referred 71 to law enforcement or prosecuting authorities.

It is worth noting, some complaints and allegations of elections fraud are not reported to the Florida Department of State, but rather, reported directly to law enforcement agencies such as the Florida Department of Law Enforcement and the FBI, as well as to state attorneys and United States Attorney’s Offices. Other complaints are reported directly to Supervisors of Elections, who may then report directly to law enforcement or prosecuting entities.

LCRA Statement regarding Tommy Doyle

The Lee County Republican Assembly wishes to express our deepest sympathy for the victim of the confirmed affair with Tommy Doyle. Our hearts and prayers go out to her for the position she was put into, as well as to Tommy and Donna Doyle and their family during this trying time.

The main issue at hand is not the affair between an elected official in a position of trust and his subordinate, but the manner in which she was paid, the source of the funds used to pay her, and if there was any potential coverup of the same.

While Tommy Doyle is focusing on an apology tour for the affair, he hopes to take your focus off the fact that this affair was with his subordinate. This subterfuge further obfuscates whether or not the payment to her was properly disclosed and documented, and whether or not the payment was done legally.

We strongly condemn Tommy’s use of hisposition against a subordinate employee nearly half his age. We share in the outrage of our fellow Lee County Citizens over our concern that taxpayer funds may have been used to ‘payoff’ and silence his victim, in an attempt to hide his behavior.

  • For the sake of our county, and the continuity of election integrity, we call on Tommy Doyle to immediately remove himself as Lee County Supervisor of Elections, and withdraw his candidacy.
  • We further call on Governor DeSantis to appoint an interim Supervisor of Elections and institute a full investigation of these serious allegations, pertaining to the manner in which the victim was paid and if taxpayer funds were used.
