About Bob:

Christian since conception, American since birth, Republican since adulthood, liberty-minded since awakening. Taking the Republic back, one feckless, reckless, nansified, sissified, castrated North American RINO, at a time.

In my business life, I was in the electrical sign mfg. industry from 1983 – 2016. Due to health reasons, I pRetired in 2016.

Like many of you, I was involved in the Tea Party and 9/12 groups since their inception, until the Tea Party was taken over by the Koch Brothers in 2010.  As the grifters and deep-staters engulfed the Tea Party, fewer and fewer local Tea Party groups were able to hang on. Not unlike the same grifters taking over the MAGA and America-First movements, today. Like, Mega-MAGA/America-Firster Evan Power. (yes, I too threw up a little, writing that)

Much of the Twenty-Teens were spent on school board and going after Common Core, at least from 2012-2018.

From 2014-2018, I belonged to several III% groups in FL, including about 2 years as State XO for the Florida III% – Sons of Liberty, preparing for the coming storm.

In 2018, I joined my REC and in 2022, along with a handful of other members, set out to take back our REC to advance the ‘Ban the Jab’ resolution. We put together a slate, printed up 200 copies of the ‘Red Book’, containing all RPOF rule docs, including RONR cheat sheet, applicable statutes, and page 1 was our slate’s bios. We handed them out at the November meeting, and the rest was history… it worked. We took all 4 positions.

To read more about that, please read my article, which the RPOF immediately called a ‘manifesto’, titled:
‘How to take back your Republican Party in 42 easy steps
(Just kidding, it’s only 11)

And, everything was fine for 2 months… until our entire board fell under the RPOF-allegiance spell. All of a sudden, the RPOF were the good guys, and activists were the bad guys… in the eyes of our LeeREC board. How could this happen? Some of these board members were staunch Krisanne Hall devotees.

I address it in many articles, but this one perhaps explains it best, and we see this everywhere, in unpaid politics, where we are paid in ego and ‘attaboys’.

Power Attracts Pathological Personalities
or, “How they spent their summer vacation, as psychopathic authoritarians”

The taking over of our new REC board/turned disappointment, ultimately led us to forming the Lee County Republican Assembly, an action organization, not a club. We were sold on a bottom-up mantra, but slowly realized the talk didn’t always match the walk.

Now, with the push for top-down bylaws, many of us find ourselves in a very concerning situation, with several chapters having already dechartered, and several more considering it. We need to hold the line. We need to reinforce each other, and build each other up, not tear each other down, in the name of perceived power.

Campaign Platform

It is my hope to earn your trust and your vote, so together, we can ensure a proper bottom-up leadership style, like we enjoy in Lee County. It is my mission to return to the model of the Executive Committee, made up of county President and 2 State Directors from each county, holding regular meetings, and deciding together what direction we want to take. The board should answer to the Executive Committee, not the other way around.

As President, I would rely heavily on every county’s input, rather than dictating to counties what the Assembly can and will mean to all of us. We are not children, that require micro-management. At the same time, we are not talking about anarchy, but federalism. This is where the Exec. Committee meetings (sometimes referred to as the Presidents Call) come into play. If elected, I intend to hold an immediate E.C. call, so we can determine what frequency we wish to observe – monthly, bi-monthly, quarterly, or other, as well as a few other structural issues.

We need to grow our list of county chapters from the ranks of so many great America-First/MAGA groups that are also being mistreated in their respective RECs. It is time for us to solidify our mission, and set the pace, win the race, and stay in their face.

Proven Conservative Leadership

  • Warrior to Stop Common Core since 2013
  • LeeREC Precinct Committeeman for Precinct 407, since 2018
  • LCRA Chapter President – Lee County (2023-current)
  • Champion for J6ers – created petition system for remaining pardons
  • Substack Author of RINO Hunters
  • Candidate for State Senator – Dist. 33 – 2022

Mission Statement:

It is my undying mission to return the FRA to true Bottom-Up Leadership, just as it was my mission to do the same in the REC/RPOF. FRA, and every chapter, must be able to endorse true MAGA/America-First candidates to local, state, and federal positions. To do that, we must be free to enlist, endorse, and enrich the Primary Elections, and we can NOT do that if we are chartered under Evan Power, or the REC/RPOF. We must beat the PAC-Man with PAC money, with what I like to call the “UnPAC”.

While no chapter should be forced to file as a PAC, FRA should provide leadership and guidance to every chapter that desires to file their 527 as a PAC with the Secretary of State, to avoid common pitfalls.

What is Top-Down vs. Bottom-Up?

Top-Down Model:

Current top-down model of the Republican Party of Florida:

  • Adopt top-down controls like those utilized by RPOF and many RECs
  • The SupeRINOrity party stifles us by
    • Banning better ideas
    • Banning influence of public servants
    • Stifling individual growth of members
    • Forcing RECs to follow bad orders

Chase away good county chapters using

  • Top-down control – master/servant model
  • Stifling county involvement

Leave new county chapters to figure out

  • SunBiz
  • IRS
  • Bank Account

Ban or discourage:

  • County Chapter’s PACs
  • Limiting Voter Guides, best decided locally
  • County websites and only “allowing” social media accounts
    • It’s 2025, not 1984; no organization can exist without a website
    • Social media is merely a tool to direct traffic to your website
  • Symbiotic relationships between county and state websites
    • County landing pages don’t point to county websites
    • County landing page calendar’s are not updated
    • No county-level login to add calendar content, board bios, etc.
    • No self reliance; no self-determination

Be master leaders:

  • Precious little support mechanism for counties
  • Served by the counties and their FRA delegates
  • No assistance for county needs/requests

Cancel regular Exec. Committee Meetings (President Calls)

  • December 13, 2023 – last regular meeting announcing FRA Board Elections to be held in Jan ‘24
  • Elections cancelled – Existing board reappointed for another term
  • November 29, 2024 – RPOF battle, vote to fight for our existence
  • May 29, 2025 – RPOF battle update
  • 7 meetings between June 13, 2025 – Aug. 15, 2025 – regarding upcoming Conference only
  • No free flow of ideas
    • No open discussion and debate
    • All ideas must be presented to VP for consideration
    • Stifled growth
  • No vote on mission and direction
    • Counties and Exec. Committee takes orders from Exec. Board

Adopt top-down Bylaws:

  • No Bylaws Committee from among FRA Exec. Committee members
  • Scheduled to be adopted prior to county ratification vote
  • Precious little county input, with no proper method to propose amendments
  • Scheduled to be voted on using new proposed “delegate” system, not current Exec. Committee made up of President and 2 State Directors from each county
  • Equivalent of amending the U.S. Constitution to do away with State Ratification process, and bypassing the States to pass the Amendment.

Bottom-Up Model

Original, intended bottom-up model of the RPoF and Republican Assembly

  • Be the shining example of how RECs and state parties should operate
  • Out-perform the RINO party through/by:
    • Better ideas
    • Influence of public servants
    • Individual growth of members
    • Setting the example for the RECs to follow

Focus on bringing every county in FL into the Assembly:

  • Identify groups that fit in the Assembly mission
  • Cultivate working relationships

Assist counties to get started:

  • SunBiz
  • IRS
  • Bank Account
  • Set up a county PAC, if desired
  • Create lawful Voter Guides
  • Avoid legal pitfalls of PAC and Voter Guides
  • Help create websites and social media accounts
  • Symbiotic relationship between county and state websites
    • County landing pages should point to county websites,
      and vice-versa
    • County landing page calendar’s should tie to county website calendars, not duplicate the process
  • Create interactive landing pages for counties who don’t want their own websites
    • County-level login to add calendar content, board bios, etc.
    • Self reliance

Be servant leaders:

  • Be a support mechanism for counties
  • Serve the counties and their FRA delegates
  • Assist in county needs/requests

Hold regular Exec. Committee Meetings (President Calls)

  • Frequency to be decided and set by Exec. Committee
    • Quarterly
    • Monthly
    • Bi-Monthly
    • Quarterly, plus as-needed
  • Free flow of ideas
    • Open discussion and debate
    • Friendly competition of ideas
    • Forging the iron in the fire
    • The cream rises to the top

Vote on mission and direction

  • Board takes its direction from Exec. Committee,
    not the other way around
  • Advocate and adopt bottom-up Bylaws:
    • Bylaws Committee from among FRA Exec. Committee members (presidents and State Directors)
    • Submit proposed version to counties for ratification vote
    • Counties vote to ratify or amend
    • Back to Bylaws Committee for reconciliation
    • Resubmitted to counties for ratification
    • Exec. Committee Ratification vote

more to come

As a proud American patriot and sixth-generation native Floridian, I know how rare it is to find someone with true integrity and honesty willing to step up and lead. That’s why I’m proud to endorse Robert “Bob” Valenta for Florida Republican Assembly State President.

Florida is a special kind of mess. Though we’re supposedly a Republican stronghold, what we really have is a tangled web of uniparty politics, RINOs, and campaign finance corruption. It’s We the People vs. the political corruption machine—and Bob Valenta is on our side.

I’ve had the privilege of working alongside Bob for over four years on various grassroots projects. From spearheading resolutions in St. Johns County to taking meaningful action across the state, I came to see Bob not just as a partner in the fight—but as a mentor. Someone I could trust for the truth. Together, we helped make Florida stronger, one county at a time.

Bob embodies the spirit of constitutional patriotism. He doesn’t just talk the talk—he digs into the facts, backs them up with evidence, and boldly shares the truth through his outstanding Substack (RINO Hunters). He understands how our Constitutional Republic is supposed to function—and he’s unafraid to call it out when our leaders ignore it.

He knows the rules. He understands the structure that made America the greatest country on Earth—and he knows where it’s broken. More importantly, he has the courage to help fix it.

Bob Valenta has proven his commitment to this country through both service and sacrifice. His unwavering dedication to the foundational values of liberty, accountability, and truth is exactly what we need in leadership today—especially in the FRA.

Let’s rally behind a true patriot. Let’s stand with Bob Valenta.

For God, for country, and for the future of Florida—vote Bob Valenta for FRA State President.

Sincerely,

Elizabeth Potter

St. Johns County Patriot
